Like us in around 46 minutes (not that we’re counting or anything) Massimiliano Giornetti is exiting the building. That building being the Salvatore Ferragamo HQ in Florence. For, in news announced today, he will no longer be the brand’s creative director, his responsibilities being passed over to an in-house team.
Giornetti joined the fashion house in 2000 to head up the development of the their menswear men’s wear, adding a womenswear collection for fall 2010. He became the creative director in 2011. So where’s next for Massimiliano? Not that we can keep up with all this change. We’re off to hide under a duvet somewhere.
