You always know what you’ll get with Margaret Howell. If it’s the perfect basic you’re after she’ll always deliver. Not to make her sound boring or anything, it just makes a nice change to see clothes that function as clothes rather than fashion. Clothes you can do things in. This season it’s was a little more masculine, than the usual tomboy. Suiting was relaxed and came in charcoal greys and a navy pinstripe. Knits were soft and tucked in, emphasising the higher waist. You not might think of a higher waist as too much a dramatic change, but in the world of Margaret it changes her silhouette just enough to make you sit up a little straighter in your seat and take notice.
