Finally: our brand-spanking-new a/w issue! The big one, the one that has experienced a little refurbishment. Actually, if truth be told, there has been more than just a little work here – we have stripped the magazine back to the bare bones of the structure and have rebuilt her, bigger and better (in my humble opinion, obviously).
As always, change is a little daunting. It comes laden with all sorts of niggling anxieties and sleepless nights, but also, for me, it holds the excitement of the prospect of a new beginning.
So, as we plunged headfirst into our new adventure and once more took the leap of faith into the capable hands of the gorgeous, talented Riccardo Ruini, the issue became everything we dreamt it would be: inspiring, propelling, urgent – everything I tasked the team at REM to achieve during our first trip to Rome to start the assembling of this new, improved version.
As we created each story and handed it over, piece by piece, to our Roman team to fit together, the issue came alive, revealing each and every beautiful detail.
I hope you all enjoy discovering every new little secret treasure within and love and enjoy it as much as I do!
