Katie Hillier – High Priestess of Bags
She would love, and should he be reading this maybe he could give her a call, we’d like to note that Make a Wish foundation we are not but would one day like to be, to work with Tim Burton. Make a film and bring her Hillier animals to life. A girl though can’t spend her life just waiting around for the phone to ring, she’d go insane. Which is why she keeps each finger in a different pie. Designing isn’t work, it’s how she relaxes. Henceforth Katie on Katie. Ping back, ping forth.
THE BIRTH OF HER VERY OWN LINE…
“I’d been thinking about it for a long time, the idea finally came about when my friend Kim Jones bought me some inspirational things back from a trip he’d been on, and with much support and persuasion from my agent Katy Baggott, my boyfriend Patrick and my right hand Nancy, Hillier lived!”
COLLABORATING…
“Collaborations are very important to me, I love meeting new people with big ideas and making things happen. Working with other people I think its when I’m at my best, working in a team is much more fun and inspiring than working on your own, most of the people I work with are really good friends of mine.”
HER FAVOURITE COLLABORATION SO FAR…
“I think my favourite to date has to be the Loewe Hillier bags, I worked with Stuart on a small collection of iconic loewe shapes with a little Hillier wink, which came in form of animal padlocks!! They are so fun and so luxury, luxury bags for cool girls!”

“My dear Mum, she used to dress me in stripes all the time!”
RABBITS…
“They are cute, remind me of being a little girl, and also very cheeky in a bunny girl kind of way!”
ACCESSORIES…
“They are the cherry on the cake the little treat for your outfit. You can’t live without them and they make getting dressed much more fun! Can’t live without them!”
