VIKTOR & ROLF: ANNOUNCE RETURN TO HAUTE COUTURE SCHEDULE
Remembering the palatial dolls residence that formed the centrepiece of their Barbican exhibition, a sense of Haute Couture seems to of always been at the heart of the Viktor & Rolf’s house, but in reality (we’re forced to go there from time to time) the duo haven’t shown on the Chambre Sindicales official schedule since A/W 2000. How excited we are to hear of their return, as more and more designers focus fully on RTW, as it sort of re-affirms our die hard belief in the magic of it all. We’ve been pouring over archive images in anticipation of what’s certain to be an epic return. Our most remembered H.C outing with Horsting and Snoeren being A/W 99’s Russian doll inspired collection, in which elfin beauty Maggie Rizer starred.
