VERSACE: SPRING/SUMMER 2014 CAMPAIGN STARRING LADY GAGA
Versace have presented Miss Gaga as the new face, and of course the body of the brand. And what a body it is – a fine muse for the labels sexy attire. Hair and make-up is perhaps more pared down than we’re used to seeing on Gags. Rapunzel has escaped the castle and married a rich man. An ideal choice also of course as Gaga, at least in these photos, undeniably resembles Donatella herself. They look like sisters. The most powerful, luxurious, opulently clad sisters in all of Fashion world, you could say. “I am honoured that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign. I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.” Says Donatella. She is seen here sporting the new Palazzo bag from the Spring Summer ‘14 show, an essential piece in any swanky lady’s wardrobe.
