DIOR: STANDING TALL
Are these girls wearing Dior because they stand tall or are they standing tall because they are wearing Dior? It’s like asking what came first, the chicken or the egg. Sure, models are required to have a height or 5"8. (With the exception of Kate, obviously.) So, these girls will be at least that tall. And that’s pretty tall by ordinary standards. But then there’s a difference between being tall and standing tall. And these girls are doing the latter. They’re standing upright. Like meerkats. But prouder than meerkats. Like lionesses.Yes, that’s more like it. Like Sarabi from The Lion King. So, back to my original question, is that why they were cast to model the collection? Or because they are modeling the collection? You see, it takes a lioness to wear Dior. And it’s Dior that makes a lioness.
