Simplicity in a bag is to be trusted. It speaks of a designer who knows how to edit. We’re editing our fingers to the bone at the moment making sure the next issues go to press on time. Taking a few moments (also minimal amount, mind) to look through BLITZ and Lane Crawford’s exclusive new range of perfectly minimal bags (there’s a theme here), we’re reminded why all the work is worth it. We do like an end-of-issue gift to self, and next on our list are these simple re-workings of established Phillip Lim styles in all-American Croc. The 31 Minute bag (a roomy clutch), Mini Ryder (a kind of luxed up satchel), and Wednesday (a re-work of the classic Boston style), are all currently available at LaneCrawford.com. While they do ship globally, this is only until October 7th, when their availability moves exclusively in-store at Lane Crawford ifc mall, and Lane Crawford Canton Road, Hong Kong. If we can’t find time to tippy tappy in our credit card deets by next Tuesday, we’ll just have to charter a plane won’t we? We’re a little tired to be travelling via commercial aviation, and let’s face it- stranger things have happened in Fashiondom.
