NYFW

All timings are local to New York City. Running from February 11 to 16, New York Fashion Week is gearing up to be bigger than previous seasons, with a schedule packed with all the usual big hitters as well as a few returns to the runway. Officially kicking off with Proenza Schouler this afternoon at 12pm local time, Rachel Scott will make her debut as creative director of the brand. Appointed in September, Scott arrives from Diotima, the brand she founded back in 2021. Expect a slick interplay of sharp tailoring and sensual, craft-led textures – a meeting of downtown polish and Caribbean-rooted handwork. However, NYFW truly saw its start on Monday when Marc Jacobs staged an off-calendar spectacle at the Park Avenue Armory that functioned as a bittersweet dive into fashion history. Then, yesterday evening, Ralph Lauren took to the Jack Shainman Gallery for an AW26 show that was all about the spirit of adventure. Gigi Hadid opened the show in a turtleneck tucked under a tweed corset and pencil skirt co-ord, laying the groundwork for a riveting series of shows to come.  Today at 3pm NYC time, Coach is set to stage its AW26 show, moving forward from its usual spot later in the week, followed by Collina Strada at 5pm – expect Hillary Taymour’s usual whimsical antics with a couple of celebrity cameos thrown in the mix. Closing out the day, Public School is set to make a comeback following a six-year hiatus that saw designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne helm other houses (Osborne at AnOnlyChild and Chow at Brand New Era, Sergio Tacchini and Brady Brand) and undertake personal projects. The pair hosted a supper club during NYFW September as a teaser for what’s to come, but this full and official outing marks their official return to the limelight.  The week continues with Calvin Klein Collection on Friday at 12pm and later Area at 6pm. All timings are local to London. In London, from February 19 to 23, a generous mix of big hitters and newcomers will hit the runway, while two beloved brands make their comeback. Tolu Coker starts the action off on Thursday with a catwalk presentation at 2:30pm, followed by Maximilian Raynor at 5pm and Harris Reed at 7pm. Central Saint Martin’s students will show their MA graduate collections at 8pm, with the best in the class to be awarded the L’Oréal Professionnel Creative and Young Talent Award. Friday commences with Lueder at 10am followed by Sinead Gorey at 2pm. Later that same day will be a three-part show from beloved talent incubator Fashion East, with one fresh face landing at the show – CSM grad Traiceline Pratt with his brand Goyagoma – and the returns of Jacek Gleba and Louis Mayhew. At 3pm, UK brand Joseph is slated to return to the runway following an eight year absence.  The Saturday of LFW brings with it some of London’s brightest young stars including Selasi at 10am, Denzilpatrick with a presentation from 10:30am-12:30pm, Karoline Vitto at 11am, Talia Byre with a presentation from 11:30am-1:30pm, Completedworks’ first catwalk show at 12pm, Labrum at 1pm, Yaku with a presentation from 2:30-4:30pm, Masha Popova at 3pm, Chopova Lowena with a presentation from 4:30-6:30pm, Chet Lo at 6pm and LVMH Prize semi-finalist Derrick at 7pm. Meanwhile, at 5pm, Julien MacDonald (formerly creative director at Givenchy) will make his second comeback (his namesake label first returned to the runway in 2023 following three years away, before he took another step back when the brand went into liquidation). In 2026, expect high-octane, sexed-up silhouettes that would look just as at home on the red carpet as they would under the flashbulbs of a paparazzi-lined Mayfair pavement at midnight.
