10 Reads: Dior Catwalk By Alexander Fury

If you weren’t aware it’s Dior’s 70th anniversary this year – their platinum, if you are one of those people who like to associate a material with anniversaries. Or if you fancy sending them a gift and are very rich. To celebrate they have released a book, entitled Dior Catwalk, which, as the name suggests collates every Dior show, all the way from the very beginning. Which means we begin with Mr Dior himself, through John Galliano and Raf Simons et al, all the way to Maria Grazia Chiuri. We’ve had a flick, and it’s pure fashion pornography. Accompanying the feast for the eyes is an equally delicious feast for the brain via the text by Alexander Fury. If there was ever someone to write a book for Christian Dior it’s Alexander Fury, not only is he a very talented writer, and 10 bestie, but he also has an incroyable collection of Dior archive pieces which he stores away and coddles at night (or something). Anyway, it’s all properly brill and we couldn’t be prouder (he’s family). Sharing the writing is Adélia Sabatini, who adds her thoughts on the collections. A 10/10 from us – we got our copy already and have been taking a few work breaks to refresh our favourite Dior moments. Get yours now. Like, right now. Available at fabulous retailers everywhere.
