June, the month that summer finally found us and festival season kicked off in full force. But what beauty gems did we unearth? Here’s a rewind to the best finds.
Chill Out with the new Susanne Kaufmann Cooling Body Mist spray. Containing refreshing – and cooling – menthol and horse chestnut extract, as well as a blend of citronella, eucalyptus, lavender and sage oils for a bit of energy boost, this is a swanky spritz to beat the city heat. Give us a tint: The tinted fancy lip balm movement keeps growing. Now, it’s the turn of legendary makeup artist Lisa Eldridge with her Baume Embrace melting lip colour. It’s a seriously nourishing balm formula complete with shea butter, jojoba oil, pomegranate extract and meadowfoam seed oil. And the colours – five in total – give a lovely sheen of glistening wash – but aren’t trying to be lipsticks in disguise. Be Handy with Aesop’s recently launched hand balm. 34 years after its first cult version was created in a Melbourne hair salon, there’s a new one in town: Eleos Aromatique.
