We all love a soft launch, even Zendaya. Back in March, Golden Globe-winning actress surprised fans when she made an unannounced appearance at Louis Vuitton’s AW23 womenswear show in Paris. Perched next to the likes of Emma Stone on the frow wearing some animal print hot pants and matching blazer, fashion fans instantly began speculating if the star would be the house’s next ambassador.
Turns out they were right! Making her big LV debut, Zendaya is the face of Louis Vuitton’s signature Capucines bag. Captured by Mert and Marcus, Zendaya poses against the future-facing architecture of the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin house, designed by Eileen Gray.
The bag itself, first introduced in 2013, takes on a modern silhouette, now available in miniature Capucines BB versions.
With the Met Gala just around the corner, are we about to see Zendaya’s big LV red carpet debut? Or better yet, will the Capucines guest star in the next season of Euphoria? A girl can dream.
