“Fragrance is about tension. Moist sensuality.” So says Honorine Blanc, co-creator of Belle d’Opium. It has notes of Casablancan lily, which makes us think of Ingrid Bergman saying goodbye to Humphrey Bogart; the only memory he has left of her is her lingering scent. Their relationship was full of “tension” and probably quite a bit of “moist sensuality”, too, so really it’s a rather fitting analogy. And did we happen to mention it smells très belle, too?
