On your mark, get set, get dressed! Fashion month is coming up quickly. The time has come again for the fashion pack to flock to the four corners of the fashion world. Across New York, London, Milan and Paris, the spring/summer 2023 offerings are about to be in full effect and it’s the biggest non-stop back-to-back, four-week-long affair since before Covid came crashing.
Dozens of physical and digital shows will connect in an array of auspicious fashion shenanigans for a month of subversive, enchanting, euphoric fashions. So while you may not be on top of your own calendar, we’ve rounded up all the catwalks that can’t be missed, so you don’t have to. You’re welcome! First up: New York City.
Eckhaus Latta AW22
NYFW
From September 9 stretching right through to till September 14, the CFDA has announced that New York Fashion Week festivities will go ahead with Proenza Schouler leading the pack. Later, traversing borders to hold a special 25th anniversary show dedicated to its iconic Baguette bag, Fendi hits the Big Apple – though we should note that its RTW show will still take place in Milan. The event will also call for a toast to Kim Jones’ triumphant two-year tenure at the house.
Also departing from Milano, Marni is also heading to New York for the very first time. Other shows to look forward to include Eckhaus Latta, Luar, Area, Gabriela Hearst, Peter Do, Dion Lee, Laquan Smith, Brandon Maxwell, Collina Strada and Willy Chavarria – from all of which we expect to see seriously memorable collections.
Elsewhere, all-American label Tommy Hilfiger has clawed its way out of the depths of the virtual world, subsequent to six seasons of lookbooks and a deep dive into the Metaverse. Since its spring/summer 2020 collection, the brand hasn’t staged a live-and-in-person catwalk so trust us when we say this is set to be a big one.

Raf Simons AW22
LFW
London Fashion Week has been sparse of its usual big hitters for a few seasons now. But from September 16-20 this year, we’re expecting the biggest LFW in nearly three years.
With Daniel W. Fletcher opening the week, both Burberry and JW Anderson are set to show physically on schedule for the first time since the pandemic began – horay! Not to mention Raf Simons, who is going to be showing in the capital for the very first time. What’s more, Di Petsa is departing from Paris in favour of London and LVMH prize winner S.S.Daley makes his return.
Next up, Feben will stage its very first catwalk after showing via presentations the last two seasons. Chopova Lowena is also on the schedule for brand’s first physical show, as is CSM graduate Masha Popova. Then there’s Chet Lo, the Fashion East alum renowned for his spiky, pastel-hued knits, who is going solo after two successful seasons with the talent incubator. Another Fashion East grad, Asai, is also showing for the first time since 2019.
On top of all the aforementioned happenings, London mainstays are set to make tidal waves. From Molly Goddard, Simone Rocha, Erdem, David Koma, Rejina Pyo and the squire of sequins, Halpern, the city’s leading labels may very well win the week. On the flip side, newer additions to the schedule that have fast become fan favourites are returning to london: from the likes of Edward Crutchley, KNWLS, Nensi Dojaka, 16Arlington and creep queen Dilara Findikoglu. Likewise, Newgen designers including Yuhan Wang, Stefan Cooke, Sinéad O’Dwyer and Paolo Carzana are stepping up to the podium. Check out the full LFW schedule here.
Diesel AW22
MFW
From September 20-26, Milan will transform into a breeding ground for the best in fashion. Glenn Martens is opening the week by hosting a Diesel catwalk that’s open to the public – the whole thing feels reminiscent of Martin Margiela’s first-come, first-serve show in 1989. Fendi’s prêt-à-porter show is up next, then, following a stellar debut last season, Matthieu Blazy will show his second Bottega Veneta collection. Similarly vying for a victorious take-two, GMBH’s design duo Serhat Isik and Benjamin Alexander Huseby will show their second Trussardi collection.
Alongside the big hitters of Milan – such as Prada, Dsquared2, both Emporio and Giorgio Armani, Moschino, Gucci, Max Mara, Sportmax, Blumarine and more – there are set to be some major debuts. At Bally, Rhugi Villasenor takes the reins as creative director and at Missoni, Filippo Grazioli follows suit. London’s own Maximilian Davis arrives at Salvatore Ferragamo this September with what’s undoubtedly the most hotly anticipated show of the season.

PFW
While a provisional schedule is yet to be released, we know that Paris Fashion Week will take place from September 26 to October 4 and as always with The City of Love, you can expect to fall for the mesmerising moments brought to us by all the usual contenders. Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Dior, Valentino, Schiaparelli, Chanel, Miu Miu, Hermès, Loewe, Balenciaga, Rick Owens and Balmain are all set to show.
