There’s an intimacy and intricacy to Nensi Dojaka’s work that makes her a real stand out on the London Fashion Week schedule. She found fame (and bagged the LVMH Prize) for her lingerie-infused LBD’s, but each season expands on her repertoire to dress her loyal clientele for all occasions. She’s already dipped her toe into swim, and inside a bright white box just off Caledonian Road this morning, she simultaneously tackled activewear and set her sights on dressing the darlings of Hollywood. Amongst her delicately constructed slip dresses and sophisticated sheer bodycon looks were cycling shorts with love heart cut outs and sporty boning which perforated going-out dresses. Speaking of hitting the town, Dojaka even offered her own take on jeans and a nice top with two-tone denim matched with a silver sequin tank top. Trip to Vodka Revs, anyone?
Her teeny tiny bra-cups were updated with lace and Dojaka took advantage of lurex for the first time, fashioning tooth-achingly sweet mini-skirts and asymmetric evening gowns in pink sparkle and blurred animal print. Her cutting skills are matched with a terrific eye for colour, and the raspberry and rosewood combination of Emily Ratajkowski’s closing evening gown proved an utter delight.
