His catwalk is lined with bejewelled clients, who shop directly from the catwalk (a haute version of see-now-buy-now). Who will be the first to debut a lean little tuxedo trouser, worn under a full ball skirt? Who will dance the night away in a rose lace gown, cut short at the front to show off expensively gym honed legs? Who will get married in a crystal encrusted rose pink princess dress with a 10m veil and a dancing mantilla? It’s a game of dress-upmanship for this glossy posse who are prepared to pay extra to secure a world-wide exclusive on their favourite gown. Some things are worth fighting for.
