After 16 years, Chanel has given its much idolised Coco Mademoiselle perfume a fresh new face. At only 20 years old, Canadian actor Whitney Peak has taken a new stride in her relationship with Chanel. After being named a brand ambassador for Chanel U.S. and a muse of the brand’s 22 Handbag campaign, the young actress has now become the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle. “She is the embodiment of today’s youth, whose curiosity, confidence, appetite for experiences and lack of preconceptions echo the temperament of the young Coco Chanel,” wrote the brand in a statement, as Kiera Knightly passes the baton on to the young actress.
Peak is perhaps best known for her role as Zoya Lott in the 2021 Gossip Girl reboot, and starring in Hocus Pocus 2. In a statement, she noted that she “never thought of getting the attention of such a reputable house, let alone the pleasure of working with and representing them.”
