WE CAN BE HEROES: LONDON CLUBLAND 1976-1984

When is a new sub culture going to emerge on London’s streets and strike fear into the hearts of older generations?  Hoodies seems to be the only way to do it these days. BORED! Anyway I’m ranting…theres a great new photo book out from Graham Smith, with text by Chris Sullivan which documents the hey day of London’s outrageous club scene (when they really knew how to do it). As well as the more obvious antics of the likes of Boy George, there are some beautiful images of our current style hero- the ever elegant Sade. Published by unbound and due on shelves December 8th.
