Who is the Valextra woman – that’s what this fab Italian leatherwoods brand is asking us, and proposing an answer by way of this cheeky, poppy and peppy video with artist Clym Everden, perfectly proportioned for Instagram and rammed full of illustrative examples of Valextra’s chic bags on a fabulous, Carrie Donovan-ish fashion editor type who wears lots of Yohji-ish and Lanvin-alike clothes and totes various Valextra hunks of loveliness about town. We like to think she’s maybe called Valerie, or Griselda, or something else quite great, and she loves buying those brilliant Fontana canvasses with giant slashes and lots of bits of Comme des Garçons she has trouble fitting through the skinny doors of her fabulous Milanese apartment. She’s a bit Anna Dello Russo, really. Italiano Eccentrico. Bella!
