First things first, this season’s message, mirror the world. Or to quote from the press notes, “the most important question ever asked is “what is good life?” A good life is one which mirrors the world. That means that you understand the world through art and culture. You understand the genius of the human race and you understand yourself in relation to it”. After all, if you’re going to campaign for anything, you might as well do so while dressed in Dame Viv’s finest. And the clothes? Classic Westwood. Bias cut and slightly disheveled dresses, covered in a delicate print, at once both fitted yet falling away from the body, working that historic sense of femininity for which she’s best known.
