Apparently, this season’s VVB collection was all about bringing the great outdoors inside. Which is great news, because us at Ten Towers are indoorsy types. Who wants to step outside into real-life nature, in all its muddy, pollen-y, animal-infested messiness – when you can have it upon a lovely piece of clothing whilst you lie on the couch watching TV? Think – little embroidered alpine flowers, blossom applique adorning collars and cuffs, landscape-y prints. All situated upon a collection of clean, precise silhouettes – flared trousers, cropped at the ankled, one-shouldered shifts, lightweight cotton shirt dresses, gathered at the waistline. A ready-made wardrobe ready for your consideration. Oh, and because she’s very clever when it comes to denim, VB has added a new denim offering – the ‘Relaxed Alt’ – “a loose fit paired with a mid-rise waist, resulting in a casual yet feminine shape.” Lovely.
