Here at Ten Towers, we’re not your usual gym bunch. Sure, Garthy Garth loves to “train like an Angel” after work, but the rest of us? Let’s say we count Fashion Week season as our high-intensity, high-impact training. And not much more. But let Vicky B get us on the treadmill, as she finally launches her much-anticipated capsule collection of sportswear with Reebok. And who else should we trust with our gym kits than Posh Spice aka the queen of looking chic while running errands. Whether you’ll be doing push ups at your local Virgin Active or just pick up the bread and milk from Tesco, this collection will provide you with all the assets to do so quickly and in style.
A true reflection of Victoria’s transatlantic life between L.A. and London, the Reebok pieces ooze with the easy spirit of California while also carrying a bit of the Brit edginess, with sharply cut silhouettes that are far from the usual hippy-ish, Yoga retreat-style garments. But it’s not just her personal style. The clothes also speak with the Victoria Beckham design aesthetic. “The idea behind this collection was to mix the relaxed attitude of streetwear with the technical performance of sportswear, whilst staying true to the minimal aesthetic of my brand – and incorporating unisex pieces which was key for me when developing the collection,” she says in the notes about the collection. Our favourite? The wide-legged trousers with cut-outs and the jumper with an oversized turtleneck. Making us look like we know how to bench press – thanks Vicky B for Reebok!
