Victoria Beckham: Selling Her Wardrobe For charity

Vicky B really is the fashion industry’s answer to Mother Teresa. For the second time in a year, the Spice-Girl-turned-fashion-designer is throwing her clothes at the feet of humanity. 600 items of clothing á la Posh Spice will be sold via a private sale on The Outnet from August 20-25 with proceeds going to mothers2mothers, a non-profit organisation helping women living with HIV. Clothes from Victoria’s Spice Girls days are said to be included in the sale, much to our excitement. “I laughed a lot when we were going through my wardrobe, as the pieces hold so many happy memories for me, David and the children,” she told WWD. “A lot of the clothes have been specially designed for me by the most talented designers, and I’ve loved wearing them.” While we all count ourselves Spice Girls fans here at Ten Towers, none does so more than Vincent who is so enamoured with the girl band that he recently acquired a Spice Girls mouse mat. Yes, really. Come August 20, we expect to see our Junior Fashion Editor glued to his computer screen, credit card in hand, perhaps a bead of sweat crowning his forehead as he attempts to lay his hands on some Spice Girls memorabilia. All in the name of charity, I’m sure.
