We can hardly keep up. In news straight from WWD this morning, we’ve received word that Demna Gvasalia’s Vetements is to show during Paris Men’s Week in January. Very good news, mostly because the brand had heavily hinted that they would never show on the runway again, opting for a showroom presentation last season, but even better news considering there is a big fat gaping hole in the Paris Men’s schedule where Demna’s Balenciaga menswear show has dropped off the schedule to be combined with the women’s show in February. Hoorah. Today’s news also means that as of January, the brand has done a complete fashion week sweep in Paris, having shown during Womenswear, Couture week and now Men’s. Not that we’re complaining. We’re very happy to see Vetements back on the schedule – for now, the show is down to take place on January 19th. Mark your diaries. Or maybe don’t. It’s all change!
