Oh ZAYN. Just like 10’s long time faves Madonna, Cher, Beyonce, Rihanna, you don’t even need a surname. Your power is real, and now, we’re very happy to now welcome you to our world. Since departing 1D, you have risen like a phoenix from the mainstream flame and truly developed. You now have your own voice. Your own style. And now, you’re own collection of luxury wares. We knew Donatella had a soft spot for the pretty boy singer, so we’re not at all surprised to learn of their latest business venture, for all of your pleasure. Men and women will be treated to a collection created, alongside Donatella, by ZAYN himself, entitled ZAYN X VERSUS. “ZAYN is one of the most exciting personalities on the world stage right now” gushed Ms. Versace. “When we first met, he told me how much he loves fashion. I thought it would be fantastic to collaborate on a new Versus collection together. And, given ZAYN’s huge fan base around the world, I expect there will be a lot of excitement about what we create together.” Eek! ZAYN’s thoughts? “I think Versus has always been a very cool brand. It’s a great brand for me and for people in my generation. I’ve always wanted to design clothes, and there’s no brand I’d rather design for than Versus. The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we’ll create something amazing.” They’re both as excited as each other. So much excitement! I’ve already had to slap Dominic’s little face and throw a bucket of cold water over Garth’s head. And to top it all off, he’ll not only be designing, he’ll be starring – appearing in the brands Spring Summer 2017 campaign debuting February. Double eek.
