Presenting the second chapter of the re-signification of Maison Valentino’s codes created from the hands of Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli, the fashion titan now presents its second showcase, this time around in Beijing’s SKP South’s T-10 exhibition space.
Its first iteration showcased Valentino’s past and present memory and imagination, all in one unique space set in the city of Shanghai. Part I took us through a journey across the Maison’s motifs and values through a contemporary lens. Now the creative director takes a trip to Beijing and brings new factors into play for ‘Re-Signify Part II’, juggling between Haute Couture, the Atelier, the Stud and the VLogo Signature. Including the contemporary vision of makeup represented by Valentino Beauty, Pierpaolo’s makeup imagination is spread across the exhibition floor with ease.
The space features unique work from a group of 18 creative artists that have previously explored Valentino’s codes and motifs including the likes of Cao Fei, Liu Shiyuan and Alessandro Teoldi. Their work will be displayed across the 43,200 square foot space that shows an emphasis on natural light all the way through.
Alongside ‘Re-Signify Part II’, the label is launching a Valentino SKP capsule collection to mark the opening of the exciting exhibition space. The collection comes doused in hues of gold and white and includes a range of bags and shoes for both men and women, exclusively available at SKP South’s T-10 exhibition space.
