As the lights rose and the finale girls strolled onto the catwalk, you really got a sense of how much more resolved this Valentino collection was, everyone excited commenting on how much more focused and concise the vision of the woman and the brand was. So much so that Valentino himself rose to give them an ovation at the end of the show. The palette, the silhouettes, the fabrics sang in unison finally as the perfect Valentino girl – an outstanding success.
