I’ve just got back from holiday. It was fab. “You’re so brown” everyone keeps saying. “You look so well” they say. And I feel well. Nothing beats a bit of rest and relaxation. Which got me thinking, why do we all force ourselves to work day after day when we could all just take a permanent vacay? With unlimited time you could go anywhere – Sydney, Bangkok, Florida, or Hawaii like Valentino decided to with their Hawaiian Couture collection. And it’s everything you can want and more, palm trees and sunsets, hibiscus flowers. My fave is the Lock bag unhelpfully made in three different styles which means only one thing – I’ll have to get all three. I’m a sucker for embroidery and this has got it coming out of the seams. And don’t worry all the fellas out there, the house have created a menswear collection also inspired by the little paradise island. Complete with printed shoes and backpacks. (I’d much rather a gown if I’m honest). So there really is only one thing left to do. Quit your job, hit the store, and fly off forever. You can be brown and well just like me, but all year round.
