Possibly the most beautiful and delicate of the Valentino haute couture collections so far, in a palette comprised of only the palest colours; beige, pink, eau de nil and burnt umber. There were thankfully far less ruffles than usual, and almost deathly makeup gave the models an otherworldly air. Exceptional.
The girls hair was tightly braided, giving a harder edge to the delicate looks.
Evidence that it wasn’t all floor length.
Incredible artisanship ; hundreds of hand made fabric flowers adorning each dress.
