We don’t have a Christmas tree yet. But we have ordered a Christmas tree onesie for Will to wear. It was a snip at £40. At that price we couldn’t afford not to. Given, it won’t have that nice Christmas tree smell but it’ll do. Besides, Will has a nice Chanel Allure Homme Sport smell. The V&A have a Christmas tree though. And a rather marvellous one at that. It’s designed by king of conceptual fashion Gareth Pugh (see his reflection in the tree?). The tree comprises of nine tiered pyramids clad in gold. We doubt this tree has a Christmas tree smell either. But it’s a feat of contemporary sculpture with, if we’re getting art historical, whiffs of Naum Gabo and I.M. Pei. Amazing.
