A waif of the moment/supermodel in the making is backstage in hair and make up, showing off to a girlfriend over Face Time. ‘Agh! Whats happened to your face? They’ve made you have a chemical peel already?’ Screams her friend. The baby giraffe gives a sarcastic sigh and responds ‘No babes It’s for the show..my face will appear as if lit by an invisible red gelled spotlight….we’ll be warrior women…in razor sharp tailoring…red, black, creme and silver…..sculptural armour and such.’ Onlookers note her ability to ‘own it’ at just 16, and she waves goodbye to her friend in Acton… still open mouthed in awe.
