Tremaine Emory Is The New Creative Director Of Supreme

Worldwide phenomenon, Supreme, has a new creative director – Tremaine Emory. The industry figurehead will work with the brand’s design team on all projects and collections going forward, with Supreme’s founder James Jebbia remaining in charge of the business side of the brand.

As founder of Denim Tears, Emory is one of fashion’s most renowned changemakers, interweaving African American history, culture and art into his collaborations with the likes of Asics, Levi’s, Ugg and Champion. He also co-founded No Vacancy Inn, a creative hub which exists beyond physical limitations, which works on fashion collaborations, parties, and radio shows

In 2020, Supreme was acquired by the corporation VF Group, owner of labels like Vans and The North Face, for a whopping $2.1 billion. This acquisition has already led to expansion and new Supreme stores opening – most recently in West Hollywood. A massive congrats to Tremaine!
