Hark, Tom Hiddleston and a large blonde dog. Look at he stares into his (/her) eyes. A whole generation of 40-something women are now (probably) fantasising about transforming into an Afghan Hound as we speak. Look at how he softly strokes his (/her) eyes in picture number 2. Sexy! But anyway. Before we go to far on that train of thought (best avoided, probably), what exactly is Mr Hiddleston doing with said dogs? Well, this is Gucci’s new tailoring campaign. Yes, another blast of Gucci to the face. Which is becoming a weekly occurrence. Not that we are complaining. Main take home from this is that Mr Hiddleston looks rather swell in a suit, perhaps the reason that he is, as the Daily Mail informs me, the “hot tip” for playing James Bond. Not sure, however, that Mr Bond would team his suit with a buckled pair of Mary Janes and white sock combo, but, well, we would. And he should. The campaign was shot with long-time collaborator Glen Luchford in the home of Tony Duquette, artist, set designer and curator, in Los Angeles. Which all in all, makes this one a beauty.
