THE SUPERMODELS: OLYMPICS CLOSING CEREMONY
Personally I was expecting someone to wheel out Linda in a giant bathtub while George Michael sang freedom and while, yes I was a little disappointed that didn’t happen, the supermodel parade set to Bowie’s Fashion. each arriving on her own truck printed with her face and dressed in gold, from McQueen to Christopher Kane to Dame Viv kind of made up for it. There haven’t been this many supers on a catwalk since the days of Gianni Versace. Kate, Naomi and Linda. It was sort of like a very British tribute to the Golden Girls, except that they’re younger. And British. And with better hair.
