The lips at Missoni were glossy. Shiny. Gleaming. Shimmering. Dewy. Wet looking, invitingly so. Like a glazed iced bun, says Rhea. I hear her, these are lips that most may find tricky to resist. Much like said favourite sugared treat from the Golden Square Greggs we often frequent. Who knew the key to appearing alluring and delicious was to dress your face up like an enriched bread. Yes, that is the correct term for such things. Not only were the Missoni mouths glossy, they were perfectly nude. “No Will, the perfect nude is ME. Nude.” Dominic can’t help himself, as he spies over my shoulder. No no, fabulous Dominic, the perfect nude is the kind that’s a bit pink, according to our Sabrina. The Queen of the no makeup-makeup lip. The Missoni beauty look was refreshing considering the recent swarm of #ISwearEveryBitchLookLikeThisNow Kylie Jenner lustre-less lip clones. So go treat yourself to a gloss by Mac, as used in the show. And an enriched bread.
