So unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months you will have noticed that 2016 has been a bit shit. And by a bit, I mean very. But this isn’t a post about Brexit, or politics, but beauty. With economic downturn almost inevitable you need to start saving those pennies. Which means no more expensive beauty products. Glamour on a dime. Think more of flash to trash, rather than the other way round. A bit like the look at the AW16 show for Christopher Kane. It was trash – literally. As the resident beauty expert I can comment that it is not in fact an homage to grandma’s across the globe, but a handy tool to hide from people you don’t want to talk to. Perhaps it’s your old friends from high school, that guy you ghosted, or even your own mother, but we understand. And so does Kane. To achieve this look is simple: find trash bag and wrap around head. Like the girls at Kane you can choose to match with your outfit for a wholly realised look, or you can go for a clear bag if you aren’t feeling that bold.
