As the proud owner of a rather bold pair, I was oh so pleased to witness the thick and luscious eyebrows at the Autumn Winter 2016 Calvin Klein Collection show. A good set can work wonders, you know. My tips for a naturally strong brow are as follows. Keep them neat. A full brow is good. A flyaway brow isn’t. Brush them up, trim the top, pull out the underneath. Just a bit. Follow their natural shape. Don’t make a harsh line unless you’d like passers by to play our favourite game of ‘Soho gay or straight European?”. If you have particularly strong brows like myself, a slick of vaseline or brow gel will keep them looking flawless AF. For some reason, lots of people choose to draw their eyebrows on with a Sharpie. Please refrain from doing this. Take a tip instead from a different member of the team with an optical follicle struggle, and apply a coloured gel for more impact. There are of course major disadvantages to owning a pair of distinct eyebrows. Just the other day I found myself being screamed at by multiple strangers in the street, pre-Eurovision. “Good luck on Saturday!”. “Britain to win!”. The only reason I can fathom for being mistaken for one half of the failed Joe and Jake, (Joe), is that we both own a pair of heavy dark brown brows. I am, it seems, defined by my eyebrows. I am a walking pair of eyebrows. In my opinion, the girls at Calvin Klein Collection did not look like Joe of Joe and Jake. They looked like naturally gorgeous, follicly blessed beauties. In fact, their brows gently commanded attention and promoted an effortless strength. One might even go as far as to say that they helped to portray a powerful attitude, in a non threatening manner. To reiterate, a good set can work wonders. Get yourself a pair today.
