THE LIBERACE SHOW
In honour of the impending release of Behind the Candelabra, here’s Phyllis Diller on The Liberace Show. Talk show standards have declined dramatically since 1969. Before it was all about matching sparkly outfits and crazy alcoholics taking magic carpet rides something that only a true insane drunk can pull off. Now people are just so sober. They do things like sit and talk. Whilst sober. Sobriety is the enemy. Sobriety is dull.
