The Grammys 2016 Red Carpet Round Up

Another day, another red carpet, and today’s, or should that be last night’s star spangled carpeting comes to you straight from L.A., for today its the Grammys turn to take it’s  moment in the soft pile spotlight. And so, without further ado, first up is Adele, looking appropriately sparkly and extremely chic in some full length Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. Florence Welch is giving us her best Kate Bush crossed with a Merry Prankster in bohemian Gucci, looking as though she could and indeed probably has passed the acid test with flying colours. Zendaya is a vision of androgynous streamlined beauty in a sharply tailored tux from DSquared, and leading us to wonder why the mullet was ever consigned to the trash can of history that is Eastern German footballer hairstyles? Lady Gaga, there to perform the David Bowie tribute gave us full on David Bowie in blue satin Marc Jacobs and shocking orange hair. So it’s true, we can all be Heroes, if just for one day. Lianne La Haves, wearing Vivienne Westwood bought flounce and drama to the carpet that is red in a dramatic yellow creation while Selena Gomez shimmered like a vision of sexy mermaid fishiness in sequinned Calvin Klein Collection. Helen Lasichanh is totally giving us Rhonda from The Bad Seed, minus the killing spree, though she does kill on the carpet followed by Alessandra Ambrosio who goes full on super vixen in Atelier Versace, leaving Alison Mosshart to do what she does best which is herself, in Saint Laurent. Obviously. But then, if you looked like that why would you do anyone else? And last but not least, here comes there bride in the form of Beyonce in an Inbal Dror wedding dress. Whoever said wedding dresses were only for weddings?
