The Fragrance: L’Homme Prada

Since receiving a bottle of L’Homme Prada at 10 HQ, more people than usual have been attached to my pulse points, enjoying me in a curiously intense manner. They’ve been attaching themselves and refusing to let go, breathing in deeply and emitting sounds of pleasure usually reserved for more intimate moments. Take last week, for example. Having decided to cure my Monday blues by treating myself to an extravagant lunch, I paid a visit to my favourite Milanese bakery in Soho. To my surprise, while ordering, I noticed a sparkle in the eye of the lady behind the counter. How awkward. However, I soon learnt it was not my physical appearance that seemed to please her, but my scent. Well, the scent of Prada. “So amazing. Beautiful. I love!” The compliments kept coming. People started to stare. And then slowly began to advance on me. As a reward for my alluring aroma, I got two extra portions of mozzarella and my lunch was free. Must have been the classic notes of neroli, geranium and patchouli. And the principal elements of iris and amber. It’s been released alongside a women’s version. Mrs Prada describes the two fragrances as interchangeable and, when placed together, the bottles make a full circle. Basically, sex in a bottle. Spray it everywhere. Everyone will love you.
