It’s not Friday, but it is New Years Eve, which is basically like a very very big Friday night, so this weeks TGIF playlist has been rechristened for one day only to TGINY. See it as Ten Towers’ gateway into a “banging” New Years Eve. It’s what we’ll all be listening to when the bell strikes the big 1-2, providing we are still able to move at this point. We open the playlist with the little-known ABBA classic, Happy New Year. Which should be your anthem for this evening. Or possibly your entire life. Happy new year / Happy new year / May we all have our hopes, our will to try / If we don’t we might as well lay down and die. Which is actually a bit depressing. Sorry. But anyway, drink up these musical tipples and then drink some real booze. I’m off to drink a crate load of champagne (cava). Someone book an ambulance for later.
