TGIF #101: An Ode to Aretha

There’s only one person we want to pay homage this Friday and it’s the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. Sadly, the whole world had to say goodbye to this amazingly talented trailblazer whose influence goes beyond the world of music. Franklin was (and forever will be) an icon, one that helped define six different decades with both her incomparable voice and her everlasting positive attitude. She made us think, helped us earn some respect, and explained how to get it right… Thank you Aretha, you’ll be in our hearts and headphones forever and ever.
