“In one small bottle… ” to quote the tagline of Death Becomes Her, “the fountain of youth. The secret of eternal life. The power of an ancient potion. Sometimes it works… ” Or in the case of Chanel’s Blue Serum, it always works. Do you, too, want to look younger every day? They say it’s what’s inside that matters, but if the shell evokes screams, who cares about the inside? According to Chanel there are four locations in the world where people live longer. And yet people claim there’s no such thing as a fountain of youth, the fools. Remember when Columbus said the world was round and no one believed him. Who’s laughing now? Not that you should laugh – the lines can be unsightly. And what does this fountain in a bottle contain? Green coffee from Nicoya, Costa Rica, which contains anti-ageing molecules; bosana, a 1,000-year-old olive variety from Sardinia; and lentisk, a 1,000-year-old spice found on the Greek island of Ikaria. Notice a common thread linking these ingredients of wonder? So pat, smooth, smear this magical potion onto your face and no longer will you sit in front of your mirror, pulling back the skin hanging from your jaw while you quietly sing, “Wrinkled, wrinkled little star… hope they never see the scars.” For now there will be no scars to see. Not even behind your ears.
