Luxury gets a clever upgrade in Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2026 menswear collection, where creative director Pharrell Williams introduces the house’s latest material innovation: Silk Tech.
Rolling out across ready-to-wear, bags, luggage, footwear and accessories, Silk Tech blends the luxurious feel of silk with the resilience of technical textiles. The result? Pieces that are featherlight, surprisingly tough and built for life on the move – without sacrificing an ounce of style.
Leading the charge is the Keepall Bandoulière 50. Reimagined in Silk Tech, the iconic travel bag has a softer, more relaxed feel, moulding naturally to movement and developing subtle creases as it’s carried. It still has the unmistakable Keepall silhouette, but with even more room to stash your essentials (and then some) – laptop, keys, water bottle and that inevitable shopping haul included. Think less boardroom, more airport lounge-to-weekend getaway with effortless ease.
Compared with its classic leather counterpart, the silk-and-nylon blend introduces a matte, lightly textured finish that gives the LV Monogram a fresh new character. The understated surface lends a subtle retro feel, proving that true luxury doesn’t always need to shout.
The innovation continues throughout the ready-to-wear collection, where Silk Tech brings an airy lightness and fluid movement to shirts, trench coats and outerwear. On the runway, the fabric’s effortless drape created a sense of ease, while its muted finish swapped high-shine extravagance for something altogether more refined. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most luxurious thing you can wear is confidence – and a really good fabric.
