Stone Island: Menswear AW25

After last year’s immersive Milan Fashion Week Men’s activation – where Stone Island presented its AW24 textile innovations and reinterpreted archive pieces upon a caged, three-storey scaffolding structure inside a vast warehouse space called La Cattedrale – the brand is venturing eastward and channeling Japan’s contrasts into its new, AW25 collection. The result? A masterstroke in textile alchemy, where industrial precision meets the imperfections of handmade craft.

Across the collection, dyeing remains Stone Island’s secret weapon, as it evolves with techniques like Japanese Blue Corrosion, which strips nylon of its hues in an indigo-inspired, one-of-a-kind process. Colour Collision Knitwear embraces controlled chaos, manually sprayed to create the optical illusion of movement. Meanwhile, the Ice Jacket, a Stone Island icon, gets a high-tech reboot with thermo-sensitive fabric and detachable accessories.

Sustainability isn’t just a buzzword here – it’s woven in. Raw Beauty resurrects production scraps into raw, undyed outerwear, honouring the past while reshaping the future. Meanwhile the Ghost, Marina and Stellina capsules continue their quiet revolutions, refining function into form.

With a palette oscillating between neon metropolis and mossy shrine, and prints inspired by the corrosion dyeing technique or Japanese sashiko stitching, this collection doesn’t just borrow from Japan – it deconstructs, distills and reimagines it. Stone Island isn’t adhering to trends; it’s rewriting the rulebook.
