It’s high praise indeed when you get a compliment from our editor-in-chief, Sophia Neophitou – when she says you’re good, you’re good. Okay? So here’s number 2 of our reigning queen’s picks from the project she set the photogs attending Mastered: Photography with Nick Knight (find out more here). Introducing Natalie McKain, self-proclaimed “bumbler, dreamer, escapist”. And very good photographer. This particular series, entitled “Boy”, was taken when her model didn’t turn up so she grabbed the closest boy at hand – her son. The result? A beautiful, intimate portrait of childhood. Lovely.
