For over a decade award winning British jeweller (and 10 fave) Shaun Leane contributed work to the McQueen catwalk. From violent silver tusks to a medieval style Yashmak, Leane’s work played an important role in the theatre of McQueen’s epic shows. Leane described his relationship with Lee as ‘a truly unique creative experience which gave me the platform to push the boundaries of jewellery design….allowing me to grow into the designer I am today.’ Many of these pieces can be seen at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Savage Beauty show until 7th August.
