Francesco Russo, Sergio Rossi’s creative director and resident shoe obsessive (well, you’d be worried if he wasn’t shoe obsessed), describes the newly revamped London shop as a “progression of the new concept of the two sides of reality and of the human being; conformism opposed to transgression, brightness to darkness”. Put more simply (by the press release), it’s a “playful tribute to femininity and an alluring homage to the world’s emblematic screen icons”.
