Admittedly, we’re a day off with this one, but forgive us – we’re in the latter stages of a brand spanking (and properly massive) new mag, so it’s all fashion fashion drama around here. Bit sad this news, though – yesterday it was announced that Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant are set to part ways with French house of Courrèges after a two year stint. We liked what the boys were doing – it felt like they were just getting started. Word is, though, the decision was mutual – in a statement this morning the house said the following: “They have accomplished the goal to reinterpret the house codes and distinctive shapes that are synonym of the brand uniqueness and innovative spirit. The two designers will now focus on new creative projects.” We wish the boys the best of luck and hope to see them and their pretty faces again soon.
