Just when you thought you had been sufficiently shaken up by current fashion week schedule changes (the horror! cold sweats!) – it was announced this morning that Saint Laurent Homme will not be showing at Men’s fashion week in Paris this season. But stifle, please, your horrified gasps, Anthony Vaccarello, newly installed creative director, is not shipping the Parisian house off to some sort of far-off climbs, nope, he will instead present his debut during womenswear week in September. So see it as delayed gratification, ready for an explosion of Vaccarello-based pleasure after the summer hols. Fab. Now, no news yet as to when or if we will see a menswear collection from Mr Vaccarello this season – but, as ever, stay tuned.
